Lol, this is so old now. I have found out that eventho i really like too read(increasingly so, too) I am not a fast reader. But that doesnt bother me. I like spending long time on one book. Reading a bit, and then let it sink in, think about it, before I move on. It’s also an emotional time when i finish a book i like, because i dont really want to.. :( :P

So i dont really want this thing anymore. Read like.. 3 to 5,6,7 books maybe, a year. Good for me! :D

Some interesting insights into language use in the very recent past. I always enjoy Geoff Nunberg commntaries; his writing is so clear. The rhythm and structure of his writing is wonderfully clean.

Yay, I read 25 books this year. Technically, I could have read a lot more but I didn’t finish 4 of the books that I am currently in the middle of with just a few pages to go.

    Here is the complete list:

.) Kafka on the Shore – Haruki Murakami
.) Lily Beach – Jennie Fields
.) Candide – Voltaire
.) The Tipping Point – Malcom Gladwell
.) Between Earth & Sky – Karen Osborn
.) The Tempest – Shakespeare
.) The History of Money – Jack Weatherford
.) How to Be a Lady – Candace Simpson-Giles
.) The 12 Steps to Self-Parenting for Adult Children – Gorman
.) Dress you Best – The Complete Guide to Finding the Style to Fit your Body – Clinton Kelly & Stacy London
.) He Comes Next: The Thinking Woman’s Guide to Pleasuring a Man – Ian Kerner
.) Recovery: A Guide for Adult Children of Alcoholics – Herbert L. Gravitz & Julie D. Bowden
.) Struggle for Intimacy (Adult Children of Alcoholics series) – Janet Geringer Woititz
.) Lifeskills for Adult Children – Janet Woititz & Alan Garner
.) Secrets of Six Figure Women – Barbara Stanny
.) Jane Eyre – Charlotte Bronte
.) Wuthering Heights – Emily Bronte
.) Reading Lolita in Tehran – Anzar Nafisi
.) A Writer’s San Francisco – Eric Maisel
.) Play Like a Man, Win Like a Woman – Gail Evans
.) The Godfather – Mario Puzo
.) Baghdad Burning – Riverbend
.) Bitter is the New Black – Jen Lancaster
.) Skinny B*tch – Rory Freedmon & Kim Barsouin
.) Three audio books that I’ll count as one book: Darwin Conspiracy, Safe Harbor, & Deep Forest

I couldn’t pick a favorite because I feel like I learned something from each one.
