After watching Felix Cane perform on YouTube, I am utterly inspired. I know how much of a negative connotation pole-dancing has, but the truth is it takes a great amount of strength and flexibility. And someday I’ll be able to dance beautifully, like her. :) 5 months ago

At £8 a lesson it can wait until I have completed other goals :)
I’m not giving up just considering it more of a long term goal :) 12 months ago

I’m in my second 6-weeks block of pole dance classes. 1st performance night was great. I love it. Got my own pole up in my room already, too. Want to become good at this. It’s the perfect combination of gaining strength, practicing contemporary dance moves and getting a taste of flying with all the beautiful fun spins.
I’m addicted. :) 13 months ago

Which may not seem long, but for me it’s about the longest i’ve ever stuck to a physical activity. I started to help with a preexisting back injury, and I got hooked. It is just so much fun! My studio focuses on fitness, not sexy, which made me much more comfortable about actually attending classes. My biggest suggestion would be to just try it. Seriously, the worst that can happen is that you don’t like it. But the best, you get hooked, and it is a n AMAZING workout :) 16 months ago
