How I did it: I took a class once a week and learnt moves on the ground as well as on the pole. We learnt a routine to begin with. We learnt new moves every class to keep the interest up. Now im in level 3! |

I’m saving my money for a Lil Mynx pole. With shipping its about $300. In the mean time I’m working on my flexibility and upper body strength.

Just finished my first lesson, I had so much fun!
Granted I am now bruised from head to toe and have even ripped off a bit of skin on the inside of my arm (pole-burn?!), but I can not wait till my next class next week :-)

Hehe, it’s not scary or show-offy at all. It’s lots of fun! There’s 3 of us in the class and we just have a good laugh :)I’m on the course for 4 weeks.
Hehe, just hope I don’t try to do it on a drunken night out round a lamp-post or something aaah!

OK. So I found a place that gives pole dancing classes in my area.
There website is http://www.divinemovementdance.com/classes. So if you live in washington then you should totally check it out. It costs like 150 dollars so I am going to save up money and sign up. I cant wait!!! It looks like so much fun.

i took a 6 week course. i did that almost two years ago and i am, now, AMAZING on the pole. i can do all sorts of crazy-upside down-no hands kind of stuff! i think everyone should learn it!!!

Although I’d already paid for the class, I emailed them to say I couldn’t make it and they just transferred my payment to the 18th Feb class. What lovely little poledancers they are :D
