JulieJordanScott is continually setting odd goals that need translation for many people
So..
Is it an accident –
that “Sole” as in only
and “Soul” as in Spirit
and “Sole” as in the part
of my body which most
often connects with the Earth
All sound the same?

Today I plunked down some more pinecones on my entry table and I realized it has become a shrine to my daily walks.
It has a clock (to honor the preciousness of each moment spent) an angel statue (to honor the divine), a bouquet of fresh flowers (to remember the abundance of having fresh flowers in my house plus it is a longtime goal to always have fresh flowers in my space) and then there is a cacophany of treasures from my walks… different varieties of pinecones, Valley Oak acorns, a pomegranate… not from a walk but very deserving of presence in this entry way shrine, two candles… which are lit right now ofcourse… and some magnolia pods.
Mmmmmmmmmm. Yes, walking is magical.

I am going to tick off this goal. My next goal is to exercise daily – and that will include stretching, upper-body weight training, and going to the gym.

Nothing today, nothing yesterday, and I don’t think I did anything the day before either. Tomorrow I am going to go for a walk before breakfast. And perhaps go to the gym in the evening. I haven’t been to the gym for over 3 weeks – so it’d be a good time to go back.
I’m the sort of person who is fine once I have a routine. Once I have the routine I don’t think about it, I just do it.

Today I again went for a before-worlk-walk, a lunchbreak-walk and I also did a long-way-to-the-train walk. I told myself that if I did this today then I’d go to the gym tomorrow. So, it’s to the gym I’ll be going then.

I went for a short walk before work, and a 30 minute walk during my lunch break. This is especially impressive since I (literally) only had 3 hours sleep last night. I simply couldn’t fall asleep.

I’ve just returned from today’s walk, and for the first time I walked in sunshine. I don’t think we’ve had anything but rain all November. The walk was invigorating, and the sunshine made it so much more enjoyable. I also managed to multi-task and drop off recycling and stuff to the charity shop during the walk.
Oh, by the way – the sunshine has gone and we are once again under cloud. Lucky that I went when I did.

Was fabulous! I’ve just come back. I really enjoyed it – and resent that the days are so short and that I am limited in where I can walk. The lovely cycle path and its funny like offshoot walks aren’t lit. And those bits that are are where the local teenagers gather (who are OK – but they will give you a hard time when you walk past).
I am going to try and find somewhere that isn’t just hideous streets and houses, where I can walk tonight.

It has been raining for weeks. I’d like to go for a walk in the evening, but not when there is mud everywhere, and drizzley rain. The weather is getting a bit boring now guys. You can quit raining – I’ve had enough. I’d like to get my life back please.
Once I am back at work (next Monday) I’ll see about going to the gym instead.

Yep, I went today and yesterday. Tomorrow I am planning to go for a massive long walk. It’s been raining a lot lately, which has put me off. But I think I’ll enjoy it nevertheless.
