If you are performing CPR on someone, they are already dead. If you are successful, you will keep the blood and oxygen circulating until their heart can be restarted and there is less risk of brain damage. Earlier this month I was able to bring someone back through CPR, electricity and drugs. Last night, I wasn’t successful in bringing someone back. In fact, statistically it’s much more rare that you are able to bring someone back than not. I’m glad that I am able to try though, because there is always that chance.
