Dammit, not THERE! I want OUT of the south! I want some place with LESS humidity and more enjoyable summers. I’ll take worse winters for better summers!

How I did it: Well, for a year now, I've dreaming of how to get out of Baton Rouge. And a week ago, I finally did. It was a spur of the moment thing, with a week of planning. I was invited to come crash on a couch down here in the Tampa Bay area, with help to get settled here. I lunged at this opportunity, and here I am! In a new city, with a new good friend and help and kindness all around me! Read how I did it…

How I did it: Well, my plans got screwed up, but I ended up moving from my small town to a large city with my parents. It's so scary to live somewhere people get murdered all the time and where it takes twenty minutes to get to work 3 miles away. Read how I did it…
How I did it: i saw the perfect opportunity to do this by going away to college. so i applied, got in, packed up my stuff, and the next thing i knew i was in a new city (boston!) surrounded by new people Read how I did it…
How I did it: I moved from one city to the next one. It's all of ten minutes from where I lived before. I had to pack for weeks and I've been there for months and I'm still not unpacked. Next time I'll just move me and start all over! Also, my town sucks. Not that the other one was any great shakes. Wow I'm negative today. Read how I did it…

Kansas City just does not support the environment I crave. I need out of here. Unfortunately I will not leave until my degree is finished (a priority) but then it’s riding off into the sunset.

but the time to do this again is quickly approaching. I have somewhere in mind, but want to go visit and check everthing out before I set it in stone and start the planning process. I only have a few months to do so until I start classes back, then I will be much too busy, and since I want to move once I graduate, the time to start researching is now!

I’ve lived in Detroit most of my life and the time has come. Thinking Chicago although Manhattan is where my heart is.

I’ve been in London for soooooo long I just don’t want to wake up here anymore ! I’m so tired of the concrete and the mayhem. It is a wonderful city but I am just completely bored of it right now. The world is a big place and I want to see it. If I could go somewhere else tomorrow I would…

So, here in California currently. I can’t wait to move to our permanent home! I’ll be here for almost 4 months and then moving to Colorado Springs, Colorado. :D

We finally get to move! My husband got orders for Colorado, so we’ll be there in February. First, we have to be in California for a few months. This is my first time really moving (as in, packing a lot of stuff and having household furniture moved) and it’s such a pain in the butt! :/ Still, I’m excited!
I’ve finally moved to a new city—Victoria! I have a few friends here, but no one super close, so I’m basically on my own. I moved here because I got a good job offer, and decided it was totally worth it to come down. I have my own apartment, and I spent a shitload of money furnishing it with actual stuff instead of just hand-me-down’s. I’ve only been here a week and a half, and my new job starts on Monday, but I’m seeing good things in my future. :)
It was a huge step and very scary, but I’m so happy I did! What made the move easier was moving with my husband and kids!
