Went out for dinner on Christmas day for the first time ever – was very nice, much better than i expected and is something that i would do in future. I thought that it might feel like i was missing out on the traditional idea of eating at home but it didnt at all, and breaks up the day nicely.

Went to mass with Kerry, who sings in the church choir. It is a Catholic church and i found the whole thing interesting, and as someone who have never been involved in the church in any way, i was amazed to see just how many people were there – standing room only at the back.
in public as an adult. VERY embarrassing and the end of a long story involving badly cooked fish fingers, unwrapped presents, a fireman, a potential fire and the after effects of the night before. One i want to forget.
Just back from a day out where we had afternoon tea at Harrods, very nice but how much can it possibly cost to make a scone?
used the infrared connection on my phone to get a photo from Kerry of her dog , bailey, in a tshirt….
this should make life more fun. My first thing this week next week will be coaching rugby to kids with learning problems. Hummm, what else could I do…..
Went to the medieval banquet at Tower Hill last night, was good fun and the food was actually quite nice.
I went to my first football match ever – Southend United v Plymouth Argyle. Went with my mate Sarah who supports Plymouth and so was in the ‘wrong’ end. Was good fun and i learnt lots including that football chants can be shouted in a west country accent, and that we are considerd ‘dirty nothern bxxxstards’ – first time i have ever been called northern.
