be a good step parent

My Fiancee has two children a Boy 10 and a girl 8. I just want to learn to accept them the way I do my son with the unconditional love they need to learn to grow up and become great adults with happy and full lives.

I think this is something that time will only tell, but i’m going to keep it on my 43 things to remind me.

Remind me that – this may be hard.

that it’s my job – to find all the things we have in common & focus on them, & build bridges.

Relax the anal retentive side of me, and remmeber to ejoy the momments :-)

Not be jelouse… he’ll find his own way to love me, and it may be very diffrent from the way he loves his parents.

Remmeber i am not the evil step mother, or wicked witch from the west… I have been lucky enough to have wonderful step parents… and I can be one to.
