How to earn my associates' degree. by G3Onaut

"I just finished my last semester towards my A.A. and let me say it was a blast. "

How I did it: I applied to my local community college, got accepted, and took the classes I needed to complete my degree. I wasn't sure what I wanted to major in at first, but I had an idea and that was all I needed.

Lessons & tips: It helps a lot if you know what you want your major to be, but not
necessary at first because there is a reasonable amount of required
classes that you'll need to take regardless of your major. Anyway, I
did it! If you can just stick it out, and remember that you're there to
learn something, it'll be great for you too.

Resources: A decent college, time, money, motivation, and persistence.

    My only excuse these days has to do with money…

    Took a break but now I’m back. Just finished a summer SOC class…I’m pretty sure I got an A or I’ll be knowing why!!!!

    In the fall I’m picking up BIO 102, HIS 102 and PSY 201

    I’ll take another load in the spring, a few more in Summer 2010 and 1 or 2 Fall 2010. Finally.

    well, I took the one class, got an A and then had to break bc of money issues. I will pick up a class in November…on the weekends…hey we do what we have to do…

    Finishing School 18 months ago

    I could list a million reasons that I haven’t finished school yet but I won’t. I start class on May 19th and depending on how it goes I may add another to the load.

    I have 12 classes to complete before I earn my associates and can start the next step in my education.
