    I have done it for 6 years here in NYC but now I am moving into a bigger apartment this yea. I am getting older and I may get married and have kids one day so it is best for me to have a one bedroom as opposed to my studio which is perfect for one person!

    Totally worth it!!! Not only is it inexpensive, it helps you see what items are important and what items are not. When you live in a smaller space, you begin to see how belongings can weigh you down. I have lived in a few different studios and enjoy the thought of being able to move all my stuff in just a couple carloads. It’s a feeling of freedom that my friends with houses full of furniture (and other accumulated crap) do not get to experience.
