read harry potter

I have never read a Harry Potter book, it passed me by, i watch the films but i never thought about reading the books. I did try once but just put it back down on the shelf after a page. I am trying to read and watch classics and things that everyone my age seems to have done so this is one of them i guess. It may take me a while because i have a massive pile of books to read but seeing as all of them are in a bookcase in the hallway i always have access to them if i ever get bored.

i’ve read all the harry potter books and LOVE LOVE LOVE them but i feel that i need to read them again every so often. i love the movies too but i’ve seen them way too many times and they last only 2 hrs each.. whereas a book can last a week if you don’t speed through it. i’m on the third one now :)

i love reading harry potter… im reading the 7th book it is really good… i heard rumors so i skipped 2 19years l8r… n now i want 2 finish the book faster!!! i normally dont read but i love this series

Amazing. I don’t think the movies did justice to the books at all.

I’ve read the first two, and it’s just really not that important to me right now. Maybe when I retire?

I guess my generation was the first of the Potter readers, but back then I was a little rebelious against the mainstream, and didn’t think fantasy was my thing… then I gave in when the movies came out—and I love the movies so much! I just watched the order of the phoenix in theaters, and I really wish I had read the books… I’m going off to college in the fall, so I doubt I’ll have a lot of time to read harry potter in my spare time… maybe I can read the first one this summer though, and then just read the rest during breaks and stuff. I’m sure I’ll get around to them, but I wish I had read them earlier!

This is my favourite book series of ALL TIME! I have read most of the books a couple of times, but my fave is the Half-Blood Prince. I know almost everything there is to know about Harry Potter; I am a total Fantasy geek. I have books on Dragons, mythical creatures, Harry Potter (duh), wizardry…tons of stuff! Harry Potter is a great series and I recommend to anyone who enjoys fantasy!

Good book, with a few surprisingly good insights! My favorite was when Dumbledore told Harry to be careful not to spend so much time on his dreams that he forgets to live. And I feel silly for having not bothered to read these books before now. I wish I had read them along with my daughter.

I’ve stopped reading the Order of the Phoenix so that I can read the books in order. My friend brought me over her copies of the first two books. I plan to start reading them next.
