    A little here, a little there. Leaving extra money on parking meters. Leaving a little more in tips. Tipping the garbage man. In this economy, I think those kinds of things add up.

    I’m doing a portion of my gift giving with kiva.org gift certificates (which I got at www.kiva.org). Looking forward to seeing other people catch the kiva fever.

    totaling up my giving for 2006, and was pleasantly (?) surprised to find out that I have done a pretty good job in this dept, enough to challenge my comfort zone. Definitely an area of growth for me.

    is a Hebrew word meaning “justice.” It isn’t charity. It is money or resources given to make justice in the world, to make things fairer, to alleviate suffering.

    I’ve decided I need to give more, and give better. This item on my list is my commitment to do that.
