I lost about 4-5 pounds since I started jogging a few weeks ago. I hope I can keep it up!
I am going jogging tomorrow morning since I am starting the ultimate new york body plan and it is forecast to be another lovely spring day. I’m hopelessly bad at running, but hope to persevere.
Awwwwwwwww there is like no where for me to go jogging i live in ireland where its always raining and the fields beside me are all mucky and wet!!and my road is a main one so its quite hard to jog on, plus im only 15 so my mum wont let me go jogging on my own!!!!help me??????xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
I have jogging about 2weeks now almost everyday..but now I can’t do that cause there is -40 and I can’t breathe in the there.. (yeah, I live in Finland….)
So I have to take a break ;/
yes it’s hard to get motivated when it’s cold. yes, it’s hard to go out for a run when you would rather take a nap, or when you have to work in 2 hours and you will get all sweaty and have to shower and that is a bit of a time crunch. but always you will feel better after running- always you will feel better mentally and physically- this was my NY resolution ‘06 and I kept up with it and I have noticed so much improvement in my fitness with my body stamina and my lung stamina! I used to be asthmatic and could never run in high school but now I really enjoy running. Do it!
I started jogging in March and it was very difficult at first, but by June I was jogging on avg 4x week for 45 minutes a day and felt better than ever. I have slowly been decreasing the amount of jogging over the past few months and can really feel the difference. I have gained 5 pounds but even worse is how much less energy I have now, and I am sleeping worse.
I would like to get in the habit of scheduing my jog on my weekly outlook calendar and making it THE priority for myself.
i always start and never do it again after that one time. maybe tonight :)

It is worth it if one has some get-up-and-go left when one comes home after work. I didn’t, so I’ll give this goal a rest and use money as new incentive on my new goal attend fitness classes in the office gym
Let’s see what Billy Blanks’ bootcamp is like.

...me! Second morning that I got from bed into my running shoes.
Last night, I also did some sun salutations and 50 sit-ups, and leg lifts and a few push ups. This morning, all my muscles hurt really bad, but I feel grand! Yay me!
