I hope to actually attend one of these… though I have no idea how you can find out about them…or how much the tickets cost…
How I did it: A friend of mine won the entrance to the premiere 'Angels & Demons'. So we went.. it was mainly luck! The movie was okay. But we expected a bigger deal about the premiere.. food, drinks, .. we just got smelly perfume and a host of a radioshow that welcomed us. So it wasn't all that, the chairs were really comfi!!! Bigger than usual :D
Lessons & tips: somethings look a lot greater than they actually are but never hesistate to watch a free new movie :D
Resources: the movie theatre a cell phone radiostation candy

I got lucky enough to go to the ‘Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story’ red carpet premiere in Hollywood. It was awesome to rub elbows with the likes of Will Ferrel, Seth Rogan and Jack Black, but the highlight of the evening was after the premiere when I got to meet Jenna Fischer (Pam from the Office), get her autograph and even make her laugh.
well what’s a premeir w/out all of that red carpet jaon & daughter makeup jewlery wearing frenzy?!
NYC Premiere of “No Reservations” with Catherine Zeta-Jones at the Ziegfeld Theatre
I went to the UK premiere of Jewel of the Nile and it was fun to see all the pazazz, but it was really odd watching a movie sat up straight in a dinner jacket. (Plus you are in the theatre before the celebs arrive and you are still there when they leave)
Half the fun (more if the movie sucks) is walking around in a snazzy suit like you’re so important, shaking peoples’ hands whom you have no idea is famous or fronting just like you. Introducing people to your date is also a blast too. Heh heh.
Trucast is very very bored.
I wouldn’t even care what the film was about, but I would love just to be there to get the whole buzz of the premiere.
Then again, if I go to the Hot Fuzz premeire, I can cross two goals of my list.
but it was still fun! My fiance (at the time) had worked as the 1st AD on the film so we got Star treatement. We all road in Stretch Hummers to the premiere, we got to walk the “red carpet”. We had our pictures all taken as we walked in. We got the most awesome seats ever and we got to attend the after party. It was the STUPIDEST movie I have EVER seen, but it was a really fun experience!
((Me at the premiere after the movie let out!))
ceesmiles is getting ready to run another 5K race; 5K has become usual run
the CD soundtrack too. Cool.
I won passes off the radio to see “The Sweetest Thing”. I got to see a glimpse of the celebs who were there as they walked the red carpet and I got good seats in the theater.
