Hi. I’m a casting producer at Lifetime Television working on a new documentary series on the subject of arranged marriage –specifically, arranged by your family and friends. We’re looking for singles aged 25- 45 who are looking for “The One.” If this applies to you, or you are interested in finding out more, we would love to talk to you.

The aim and goal of the show is to help the participants find love and happiness in a committed relationship, and we’re committed to treating everyone with respect (this is not a game, dating, or elimination type of show). I made lunches for all three of us tonight. I hope we eat them!

I need to come up with more creative vegetarian lunches.

He wont eat peanut butter and tuna. My son and I will have to eat those staples.

THE MOTHERLY WIFELY ONE!

My DH has gotten a job since he’s relocated and now my laziness has almost all but gone away. I have cranked up my drive 10 fold – it is a weird phenomenon.

Laundry was last night along with a nice dinner.

SEEING HOW LONG IT WILL LAST

What can I say? I want this… to be a ‘wife’. It’s amazing how a word can change your perception on your relationships… how it can motivate you to be stronger together and more committed, no? Well, hopefully that’s the case! I’m sure it’s not always… but yeah. To say to somebody, “I do”, for the rest of my life. My partner in crime… My love =)

drives me to pure happiness – when I hear him laugh I get so joy filled it is pure love. If I could get him to laugh a few times a day I’d be the happiest woman alive.

He is getting more and more used to me and I am getting more and more used to him – I realize now that when two people who are older and then get married they have to deal with a lot of change – more change than when one gets married earlier in life.

I love my DH!

WIFE

We’ve only been married a little over 3 months. I am learning how to be a wife to him. It is fun and exciting and scary all at the same time.

He isn’t feeling well – I don’t know how to help him – I have no idea what he’d like me to do for him – I cleared off his side of the bed so when he is done with his evening stuff he can go directly to sleep – which he needs so he can get better…
WIFE

I am not a wife, but many of my friends are married (happily or unhappily – whatever may be the case). I know that I, like other women, am attracted to the prospect of having the pretty ring and perfect wedding day, but what those friends of mine did not realize is that marriage continues on after the ceremony. Time does not stop to create a perfect bubble for the newly married couple. They had to learn to compromise, to adjust to becoming wives and husbands, and from their experiences I feel that I have learned about some of the qualities I do and do not want to have as a wife.

Interesting goal…I am a new wife. It is not always easy, infact sometimes it is the hardest thing that I have ever done. But, it is incredibly rewarding. You must be committed to being committed. Curious why this is your goal??
