figure out what i want to do for the rest of my life

I still don’t know what I should do! Continue studying journalism? Or move to radio and television? I really really don’t know. I like both. I see myself suceeding in both. Plus the acting thing. What should I do? Can someone help me out? Should I just take a break and find out later? Damn it…

As I will be 35 this year, I thought I had figured out what I wanted to do with the rest of my life. But as it is, there are so many conflicting desires and things you would like to be doing. And often you find yourself wondering why you did a particular thing instead of something else. Why you met somebody instead of someone else.

I would like to figure out what it is the I best enjoy doing and what gives me most satisfaction. Concentrate on quality rather than quantity.

Go to college? Move out of town? Get married? Kids? Visit a out of country place? What do I want?

I’ve finally figured out that I want to study to become an interpreter for the deaf. I love languages, and helping people – so this seems like the perfect job. ASL is probably my favorite language i’ve ever been exposed to.

It’d be good to know I’m going to do something with my life rather than drift through it aimlessly. I need to decide on a career path…
