there is so much more that goes into this than just claiming to be a witch. reading , learning, studies, discussion, writing(I would rather write my own spells and chants, they work so much better for ME). A lot of hard work and dedication(BUT oh so worth it if you stick it out)

Me and my husband are well on our way to becoming better witches. We have been doing our ritural and sabats with good friend of ours. It is so freeing and liberating. I recommend this to anyone.

This is something I really want to accomplish! I been dedicated to wicca for 2 years now, and I have learned alot(and of course more to go). It has gave me the power to become a more confident person and get through the hard stuff. wen people ask me what i practice, and i tell them im a “wiccan” they freak out and say “u mean witch?? like the ones in harry potter?” grr yea that gets on my nerves but true, i was a great fan of harry potter, and never knew there was anyting like it.(well wicca isnt completely based on harry potter…) but being called a witch by so many of my friends and my bf(who also is a wiccan), gives me inspiration, and gives me the feelings that its something thats is really meant for me.Connection to nature and the godess gives me so much joy and let me feel the magick which was hidden before and now reveiled.
This is it. I am dedicating myself to being a better wiccan. And what better start to it than Samhain in a few weeks? I’m throwing a dinner party with friends and some traditional foods and customs intertwined. It’s going to be so much fun!
I only wish I knew more wiccans. I’m sure that makes everything a lot easier.
Nevertheless: on to Samhain, everyone! Swear off your bad habits now, it’s the season~ ;)
i’ve taken the classes and now am an apprentice. it’s difficult bc it’s been a long time since i’ve cast a circle or done any rituals… i’ve drifted somewhat. i also believe in God. Raised as a Christian makes it a bit harder to associate my connection with Nature, my power is within the Earth. some day i’ll be able to practice what i want when i want. right now i’ve been dealing with too much shit to drift back in that direction quite yet.
I have study Wicca for 7 years, but there is still so much I don’t know. With work my studies have kind of fizzled out lately, but I want to dive back into it and become the witch I know I can be.
I’m doing this kind of practice because I’want to fulfil my dreams about to become a better “WITCH” thats why’
