get a purity ring

I got my ring! It is just a ‘TRUE – LOVE – WAITS’ ring, but it is beautiful, especially because they darken with age. It tarnishes on my skin though. But if I soak it in hot water and rub it with the little cloth it came with, it looks good as new :)

Tonight, there’s a purity event at our local city auditorium. A relatively well-known lady is coming to talk, and there’s supposed to be pizza and pop, and youth groups from around town are coming. I’m hoping I might be able to buy a ring while I’m there (purity vendors? lol). But if not, I’ll have to take a trip to the Christian resources store downtown sometime.

I went to a relationships retreat. It was life changing and I committed to purity! I want a symbol of it though, so I hope to go out and get a ring sometime soon. I don’t know what I want it to look like, probably silver or white gold with a small stone in it.
