Yep, I did it. Hard to believe, lol. Much credit to Flylady…and my family for being so wonderful:)

I did sort of have an issue with my sister, whose child stayed up until about 12:30 last night, remember folks I need to share the room with said nephew for the Holiday.

But other than that, I am doing pretty well…
Lots of people, in varying states of health…

for Thanksgiving

I made it through the disasterous traffic in DC yesterday. What should have taken 3 hours in heavy traffic, took about 6. It was maddening, I tell you, maddening!
Today is the day all of the relatives ascend or descend upon us….
we’ll see how it goes.

I love my relatives, but I don’t always like them. My Grandparents are coming, and my Grandfather who has dementia generally spends alot of time making comments about my unmarried status….which is hurtful and annoying, but I have to recall now he has demetia so he can’t control himself…
My Uncle and Aunt are coming to drive the Grandparents. They are both odd, and I especially dislike my Uncle. But I don’t know why. My Aunt makes tons of comments about the amount of food people choose to eat….
and then there’s my Sister, her lovely Husband and her kids…
We may all have to run off away from the older generation…
I’m lucky to have living Grandparents (My Dads parents, as you may recall my Moms Dad died in September) I hope I can appreciate them and keep smiling….
