steal something someone loves, take pictures of it in random places, and send them to that person

We stole pumpkins from my in laws in October. We took pictures of them in different places and sent ransom notices once a week with silly challenges that had to be done. One week they didnt do the “task” and we popped off the noses and sent them to them. It was funny and quite fun. My kids had a blast. the last goal they had to do was go to Target and stand out front and sing one Xmas carol. They were So emabarrassed.

I am happy to report that the pumpkins were wrapped up and giving to them for Xmas. They were so surprised.

I am done!!

I wanted to get something from my family’s house at Thanksgiving, but totally forgot in time.

This will allow more time to accomplish this, plus there will be many more people in/out of houses so I won’t look so guilty!

We stole a decoration off my in laws porch. Last night we left a note (using cut out letters of course) and a picture of the pumpkins. LOL- This is going to be so fun. Hopefully they dont check this site!

Dopey Thieves Steal Woman’s Dwarfs

FLINT TOWNSHIP, Mich. (AP) – Some dopey thieves snatched and grabbed several of Sue Austin’s seven dwarfs. “I’m thinking it’s just some kids,” said the Flint Township resident, who is offering a “no questions asked” reward for the return of the statues.

Stolen from Austin’s display are Grumpy, a 2 1/2-foot concrete statue, along with Snow White, Bashful, Sneezy and Dopey. On Sunday, following an anonymous tip to Austin, Dopey was found in a front yard in nearby Davison Township.

Each statue weighs more than 200 pounds, which might be why the thieves decided to leave behind Sleepy, Happy and Doc, The Flint Journal recently reported.

Austin said she saw a similar display about 10 years ago and liked it so much that her husband bought the statues.

I did it, for all intents and purposes… I’ll put that I want to do it again, and I’ll find something else to take next time, but this is just taking up valuable goal space if I leave it on here. I could be doing other useful things like… Well, have 5 kids is the top of the list at the bottom of the page at the moment, so I better get busy.

I’m an idiot! I put the wrong house number on the letter to my sister. It went to number 17 and she lives at number 18… There is no return address, so I’m just hoping that her neighbour noticed, and kept hold of it.

Ugh! I’m so terrible at that. I once sent a postcard or something to number 8 instead of number 7… I just have number 7 issues. Lucky 7 is not always the case.

At least I can show her the pictures on the computer if she doesn’t get the letter, but the goal isn’t really complete if the pictures aren’t “sent” to her.

I printed a couple of the pictures and sent them back to my sister over the last weekend. I spoke to her on the phone today and she hasn’t received my “postcard” yet, so probably tomorrow… She also didn’t mention Bluey Whitey being gone. She’s being strong. :)

I took Bluey Whitey to the Technik Museum in Speyer the other day and took a few really cool pictures of him on planes and boats and stuff. Very cool.

I stole Bluey Whitey yesterday and he’s now with me in Germany. I got the help of my sister’s boyfriend on this one. I’ve got some pictures to send to my sister. I just need to print one or two and write a note before I can send them :)

She hadn’t noticed he was missing by the time I left.

My sister has a teddy bear she named Bluey Whitey (for obvious reasons). She’s had it for about as long as I can remember.

In 10 days I’m going away to Germany. My sister is going to give me a lift to the bus station to catch my coach to the airport.

This is my (as usual) long-winded (and bracketed) way of saying that I’ll be staying at her house the night before she drops me off, which is my perfect opportunity to steal Bluey Whitey and take him to Germany with me. ;)

It might take some co-operation from her boyfriend, as well as some good luck, but I’ll try it :D
