I can find them when I need them. They aren’t in the way to trip over. This was something concrete to concentrate on and it now is second nature.

remarkably well. I am pleasantly surprised. It is so much easier to handle the fewer number of shoes. I am, however, afraid to take it off the list just yet! If I finish out this month and still feel like I’ve got it under control, THEN I will mark it completed. 6 years ago
I am surprised at how well this is going. I take off my shoes and immediate put them in the closet. I am finding that I’m not wasting time in the morning looking for one missing shoe…or trying to find out where a pair might be. I’m going to leave it though. Last night I took off my shoes next to the bed, right in front of the closet…and didn’t put them in the closet! It would have take half a second to put them on the shoe stand. DUH! 6 years ago
I’m thinking about doing and experiment. My guess is that I wear only about 6-7 pairs of the shoes that I own…10 tops. I don’t really want to get into numbers, so let’s just say that I own quite a few more than 10 pairs.
The experiment? I am going to put all of my shoes in the spare closet. As I wear them I will transfer them to the regular closet. After 6 months…I have to allow for seasonal choices!...I will donate any shoes still left in the spare closet. 6 years ago
five different pairs of shoes from various locations in my house. This should not be that difficult! I had one pair in the kitchen, two under the dining room table where I sit, one in the hallway and one under the computer desk. It’s no wonder I can’t seem to find my shoes in the morning! 6 years ago
