We are using the service—it is great! This was our first shot at using the cloth diapers on Anna at home!

The first diapers were delivered today! The following is my first attempt at using cloth diapers. I need to watch the video on the company’s web page…

Realistically I’m nowhere close to bearing anything right now, nevermind children but I would love to do this. There aren’t any services I am aware of where I live but it would still be worth it (easy to say now, I know). I just don’t want to be contributing to much to the landfill and want the healthiest thing available for their little bottoms.

Thinking more realistically about this goal, I’ve basically come to the more rational conclusion of using a service, at least for the first month or so with Baby. I will be tiiiiiiiiiiiired, hubby will be working, and using a service will be much easier than doing it ourselves.

The more research I do about this, the farther I feel from making a decision. I found some really good websites today about cloth diapering that I think will help me once I buckle down and look at the products carefully.

There are so many choices these days! Old style ones that look like towels, shaped ones, velcro, snappy, a million brands and fabrics. I definitely want to use organic cotton, so that’s one step toward choosing…. Does anyone know a good, easy to use, affordable organic cotton diaper??

Cloth is the BEST! 2 years ago

Best for baby, best for environment, best for the budget… Have I missed anything?

I totally recommend cloth diapers! I love them!

That’s not to say I don’t use disposables; they have their place, such as when we go out for a long time during the day. But cloth is 90% of what I use on Gabriel. Even Tommy is getting on board with the cloth. I think it intimidated him a bit at first, but he is now a master diaper changer.

With my oldest daughter 2 years ago

I used cloth diapers from a diaper service.

I wanted to be the perfect mom, the most ecologically sound mom, the Breast Feeding only mom, the attachment parenting, family bed mom.

I made myself nuts, basically. LOL.

She grew up to be an incredible human being. I am blessed!
