Unconditional Positive Regard and Genuine Love….
from my twin brother…I can honestly say, I’ve known him all
my life (and before) and we have a very special bond. We both
feel very excited and happy when we see each other…
it’s sooooooo GREAT!!!!

Tonight we got to see each other because I came up for the holiday
week~ Thanksgiving…I feel so happy!!!! Funny when we were babies, we created our own unique language…they thought they would have to separate us so we would speak English!

Today due to their parents’ discussions one of my students said in class, “MS. G. I am sad that you will not be a teacher at our school next year…” and several other kids chimed in on the subject…pretty soon a discussion was going full force….and I had to settle them down and try to diplomatically let them know that it is not the principal’s fault…and it is not that anyone is trying to be mean….We talked about finances….

Many of the children shared about their own family’s financial hardships…losing cars, and houses to repossession…and maybe having to move back to home countries and move in with relatives….

One sweet little boy said…”Ms. G. I know what I am going to do… I have money from my birthday and I am going to tell Ms. O (our principal) that I will give that money so you can still be our teacher next year..” (OMG!!!! I almost started crying that was so sweet… ) He is the same boy who wishes me a good lunch everyday by saying… “Have a great lunch Ms. G.” as we part at the cafeteria…..

The Value of an Hour
can not measured for lovers~
