How to find my passport

How I did it: Ironically, I stopped looking for it and started working on other organizing tasks. THANKFULLY! I would have NEVER found it trying to look in places I "might have put it". I purchased a little journal I had completely forgot about on my last trip. There it was... inside the front cover. I swear, I opened the journal thinking to myself, when did I get this?! and Boom! Passport fell into my lap. Literally.
Lessons & tips: If it's not in all the obvious places, and you know for sure it's in your home.... just start working on other organizing tasks... I happen to be organizing my office and was putting an old journal into my old journal storage box ... I would have NEVER looked there for my passport. |

Pheeeeew. I can finally relax about this. The dumb thing was that the passport was almost exactly where i thought it might be originally; I somehow missed it the first three times I checked that spot.

Ok so I asked Dad if he knew where my passport was. He said he thinks he has it in the drawers upstairs, but He still hasnt given it to me. I really need to check what year it expires incase I need to apply for another one. ... Why does he have to take things and hide them for “safe keeping”?

both me and my dad have misplaced our passports.
and we’re planning to leave on a trip in like 3 months.
3 months is a long time but if we have to get new ones it might take that long, last year my friends passport took 5 months to come in and it came in 1 DAY before she left.

I am leaving for Mexico in 13 days and have no clue where it can be. To make matters worse, I temporarily live in North Carolina, but it may be in my permanent home in Tennessee. Eek! Please be thinking of me.
