Giving birth to my daughter ,from the horrific labour pains to the painful recovery was the most important and satisfying thing I have ever done.

For 9 months I worked at keeping her safe and nourished and maybe for the first time ever I saw something through to the end without getting bored or distracted.

Although she was a surprise, not going through with it was never an option because I loved her from the moment I knew about her.

Giving birth has really made me reevaluate my life and has given me such a great sense of achievement that I feel my other goals can be easily achieved now. 10 months ago
