Between school and my pregnancy, I’m on doula hiatus until further notice. 5 years ago

I have a client lined up for May. It’s a lesbian couple expecting their first child, a daughter. I’m pretty nervous because M. has been diagnosed with GD and has been “risked out” of a midwife-attended birth at the U, so I’m bringing some info about possible homebirth and crossing my fingers. The risk for c/s skyrockets with a GD diagnosis. I’m hoping that they will at least look into the possibility of homebirth. 6 years ago
