For me it isn’t really “develop style” I’ve always had my own unkique ways, it more finding a way to describe my style.

How I did it: Developing your own style starts with you. What do you wear? Whats your old style? I am a preppy/skater dresser. I call that Seppy style. I have dark prep sweaters and i have a pink skateboard from Birdhouse. I also have black sparkles and wear converse with Capri. Its called SEPPY!! lol my style. Read how I did it…

It grows with you. I still stop and think about it even now a month later after I completed this goal. You really do just need to sit down and write how you want to look to the world. It comes and goes. I don’t want to look “preppy” or “ladylike” or “skater” or any other clique. I want to look “effortless”. That comes with practice and experimentation.
It should be something alike business lady style, to look aristocratic, elegant and luxury.
I want to be inspired, stay inspired, and inspire. inspire is a lovely word and action. Now how to find it…can be a problem.
xsaturnine is ready to start over.
i need to go shopping first.

I’m actually getting somewhere with this! :D I made a little chart and wrote down all the things I like in clothes and jewellery (colours, textures, materials, etc.), and how I want to feel and appear to others (a list of adjectives). Then I worked out what colours go with my skin/hair/eye colour and worked that in, too.
Jaqui83 wants more than that.
I feel like I need to express who I am better through the way I present myself. I like to be comfortable above all else. I am a bit of a tomboy when it comes to clothes, but I like to make an effort with hair and makeup. Having grown up as a bit of a “rock chick” I can’t live without my Chuck Taylors. But at work I like to look sophisticated. I suppose not having a surplus of cash is the biggest challenge for this goal. Hmmm still have to work at it…

You know, I think I’ve got it chikkas. It’s the age old masculine & feminine stuff. I was super comfy today in a cute outfit. Time to work out awesome outfits! Done.

I found these at the Psychology Today website at another user’s suggestion. Give them a try, they’re quite nicely written :)
