How I did it: For the first time ever, I voted early instead of on the actual election day. We did this because we're pretty sure our votes were lost four years ago in the congressional run between Buchanan and Jennings. We voted for Obama and other Democrats, and we won back the White House! Read how I did it…
How I did it: Barack Obama has run in elections I've voted in 4 times, the primary & general election for the U.S. Senate while I was living in Chicago, and the primary and general election while I was living in New York. yellowdresses Finding it hard to find time to read. No good.
at 4:45p, after both of us got off work. We headed to separate lines due to last names far apart in the alphabet, and then were reunited again after a bit. It was predicted that we’d be in line for about an hour and a half, and that was pretty spot on. As we waited, we read the Huffington Post on our phones and saw that Obama had had over 100 electoral votes at that point. We stated this fact aloud, and people all around us nodded heads in agreement.
A baby wailed in front of me in line, a man got angry at the voting volunteers because he didn’t want to be filmed, (there was a video camera near the voting stations), and throngs of people anxiously waited to get their turn. When the time finally came, I pulled out my ballot and filled in Barack Obama/Joe Biden for President and Vice-President. That was my priority, first and foremost, before all other choices. Filled in all the other positions/propositions, then we headed home triumphantly. We did it, and so did the rest of America! Democracy lives!
Obama gives me hope! I truly believe he will bring us all together and lessen this deep chasm we seem to have between the left and the right.

I’m going to my local polls, and I’m going to vote for Change!
We’re in the middle of Early Voting here in Nevada, and in my county, Clark, Democrats are turning out in huge numbers… double the GOP turnout. This is a “battleground state” according to both campaigns and the press. Obama himself will be here for a rally on Saturday, which I am sure will spur even more Democrats to get to the polls. If you have the opportunity, don’t wait till November 4th. Vote early and add to our ranks.
