the movie is better than the book.

I just finished the book last week. I was very surprised how close the book was to the movie, even including the scenes with the grandfather and grandson. The ending was a bit different, which kind of screwed me up, but I liked the whole thing. It was full of satire, which I find hilarious, and the characters were remarkably similar to the ones cast for the movie. I mean, they were seriously perfect.

I love the story, but I’m loosing interest fast… the book is so similar to the the movie that I feel like I’m reading the script, so what’s the point… Maybe I should try reading the original S. Morgenstern’s version ? Who knows ? I give up, 2/3 through the book…

I’m half way through the book… great book , but so similar to the movie I feel like I’m reading a screen play… I was hoping to get a little more insight and detail to the story… They did an amazing job with the movie keeping the flavor of the book…

Just picked up the book yesterday, and started last night… so far I love it…

I’ve watched the movie countless times, and would really love to read the novel that inspired it!

My teddy bear is named Fezzik.

Everything that I expected it to be, and more. But it really isn’t a “Classic”.
