I have lost interest in this somewhat: I’d rather concentrate on still lives for the time being. More work can be seen on:

When this pis is finished I’ll have done all the main buildings and can have a break
I’m getting things ready for a show opwning on the 9th January.
Do come if you are around here.
CELESC, Santa Monica, Florianopolis, Brazil.
Sketch done. What an odd, squat building this is!: not really at all beautiful.
But with the sketch done at least I can now proceed with the picture proper. I have a show coming up so I have only a fwew days to complete it.
As for the bus station, the sketch is now done too. I think this is will be a sort of “Homage to Monet’s Gare St Lazare.”
View of the Custom’s House complete and succesful.
Having had a break from this I can rebegin with more enthusiasm…
1. The bus station
2. The cathedral
After this I will have covered the main sites, and I will be re-visiting, which should be considerably easier, and instead of concentrating on drawing I can relax and work more on atmosphere.
I have really two major buildings left to paint: the Market and the Cathedral.
The Cathedral ios quit annoying because it is very busy there and it’s hard to get the peace to concentrate.
I’ve done a small general view of the market, which I can finish quite quickly. I might use it as the basis for a larger on, I’m not sure. I don’t really like the Market much.
I did a sketch of the old bus station: I shall use it as a basis for a much bigger picture, referencing Monet’s Gare St Lazare series.
I am aiming to produce brighter and more optomistic pictures for my show in February.
