DocD is working on time travel.
I’ll be doing that next Summer. My brother lives there and I’m going to visit him. Both horse and camel are on the agenda.

Yes, thats one thing I really wanna do. Got inspired after watching a documentary Discovery channel.
It was a great little treck. We were staying in a Ger camp for a few nights, and one afternoon some locals took us on a ride along some of the ‘roads’. Lots of fun, and really relaxing. The landscapes of Mongolia are the most amazing I’ve ever seen.
Highly reccomended!
my partner in crime cassandra, is with bun in the oven – which means no horsebackriding for quite some time. i may need to hold off on this for while :(
Manaia is going to study
But the flights alone will cost approximately $2000 to get to Beijing, and then I still have to find my way into Mongolia.
Not sure how much it costs to actually live and travel in Mongolia. It was pretty cheap living in Nepal, so perhaps Mongolia will be similarly cheap? That would be good.
Anyway, Mongolia is definately on my places to go list. It looks so wild and lovely.
I have ridden many a horse on the Steppe in Mongolia. Not like any horses I’ve ridden before :-)
looks like i might need to postpone my trip to mongolia another year.
i love horses and dogs – and just bought this original photo printed on birchwood.
there goes my savings!
oooh, i’m thrilled! one of my oldest friends, cassandra is willing to do this with me. i was a bit afraid to try this on my own – i can go to europe by myself, but somehow, asia, eurasia, etc just seems too overwhelming to tackle by oneself. july 2006 cannot come soon enough!
