    I did do this well I didn’t quite make it we reached the first rest type area and I started getting afraid of heights, it was very cloudy and you couldn’t see the top, i can’t believe i didn’t go all the way, but I am back in Hawaii I can try again.

    The hike itself is HARD! But it is totally doable. My friends and I visited last summer, and we decided to do it. None of us was in great shape, and we didn’t bring any food or water (a VERY stupid move) but we got all the way up. Let me tell you, it was INCREDIBLE! You can see both Kaneohe and Honolulu from the summit, and you feel like you literally have climbed the stairway to heaven. It was one of the best things we did on Oahu.
