Build a log home

I want to build a log home. I want to buy the land…somewhere in either the Canadian Rockies, Utah or the Berkshire Mountains out east. I also love western Canada. I am still working on location. The home would have lodge-pole pines, big around and strong, of course. I want to design it with lots of windows to bring in the outdoors. The vistas will be amazing. I have some ideas for interesting things like lofts and libraries and warm, cozy nooks for reading. An outside hot-tub. The bedroom should have space and maybe a sky-light to see the stars. This “thing” is definitely a work-in-progress.
I feel great for having written it. Now I can work harder on it!
