I just fixed the seat of my wife’s bike. And I took the old seat, and put it on a bike I’d scavenged from the street. We will end up with several very serviceable bikes, and we can sell what we don’t need! I’m so psyched! 6 years ago

We spent many weekends on this part of the house. In fact, much of the back wall has been rebuilt. No choice, it was rotted. We did alot of interior work while the weather was cold, but now we’re back to the exterior. We try to do a little each weekend and are surprised when all of a sudden a big chunk of work is completed. 7 years ago

We’ve been letting the old fashioned trike rust. That’s a no no.

Time to clean off that rust and paint it. I could think of a couple other things that need to be de-rusted. 7 years ago

I’ll need some paint, need to find a scraper, get the bucket, sandpaper and sand block and what I’ve got together.

I’ll probably need to buy some rust remover and steel wool.

I have a ton of little handy-man thing that need to be done around my house, like fix drawers, fix doors, replace carpet, redo kitchen flooring, change light-bulbs…

Installed a bathroom sink this weekend, but unfortunately it was not in my house. Guess that it is a start though. 7 years ago

Lat weekend we painted most of the meter cupboard white. This weekend we want to finish it up using a smaller brush to get at the awkward bits behind pipes. 7 years ago

I went and bought one, and got to meet the owner of the store at the same time.

Got the mower repaired, mowed the lawn by mid-afternoon Saturday. Oh how beautiful, lovely it looks! 7 years ago

Irony: I work in a place that holds and distributes parts for lawnmowers, but am so busy I haven’t had time to get the parts I need at home.

Today is Saturday, so I’m trying to do it via neighbors and small businesses which are open now. Don’t want to have to resort to Walmart.

Will have to use the manual lawnmower (muscle powered) and hand trimmers till I get this fixed.
