    No the helper doesn’t really help as much as I hope. I have to be home so that the helper can go out shopping for food, I have to be home as a replacement helper during her day off. I still have to be stand by most of the time, like a job 24hrs on call. But, she’s my mom. :)

    Having a helper taking care of mom, I do gain back more control of my own life. But then, my worsening fibromyalgia grabs it away :/
