grow my hair down to my hips

My hair is about 28 inches down from my hair roots. My hair grows about 5-6 inches a year. I think I have around 2 years to go. For me, that’s enough time. Grin

it is still just past my shoulder blades….. o.O

It is down past my shoulder blades now, I still feel as though it is growing soooo slow..

So I’m trying to get serious about taking better care of my hair. I haven’t had a trim at all in three months now, so my ends are pretty bad. I’m stuck with budget products since I’m pretty broke most of the time, but I bought myself a leave-in conditioner since that’s what a lot of people suggest for protecting one’s hair from daily damage. Wonder if I should look into a different shampoo/conditioner? I currently use Garnier shampoo for color-treated hair, and Tresseme conditioner. Anyone have any suggestions for a relatively inexpensive (around $10 a bottle max) shampoo or conditioner that might be better than those?

i have been keeping it trimmed but i am still letting it grow

my hair is being cranky and i had to cut about an inch off but it still below the shoulders and i have not chopped it short, so we are still moving forward.

well i still haven’t chopped it all off. i did get a trim recently but it is still past my shoulders.
