"Bali is magical-It is paradise!"

How I did it: I saved up and just dove in! I signed up for an art workshop in Amed with which included the villas we stayed at, meals, etc. - It made the trip a bit less daunting.

Lessons & tips: In the little villages you will find very rich culture and the friendliest people! Take a trip to Amed on the north-east side of the island. Fabulous temples (Lempuyang), snorkeling and scuba there and unparallelled beauty!

Resources: In Amed- I recommend staying at Apa Kabar Villas
In Ubud- I recommend staying at Komanaka (a little pricey for Bali, but well worth it). Also in Ubud try dining at Indus Cafe and at the Lotus Garden! Shop the Ubud market. You're in for a treat.Writing this makes me want to go back so badly!

    I just came back from a 10 days trip to Bali. I can say that it’s very enriching, fun, exciting & mind blowing. It turns out to be better than what I expected it to be. Definitely will be going there again…

    I have bought my air ticket to Bali last THUR. I’m going in July & will spent 10 days. Me & my girl friend are going to do it back packing style =) I’m so excited! Now that I have got the ticket, there is no reason I’m not going anymore. Here is a picture of the itineray of my flight info.

    The 1st time I come across Bali was when I watched my 1st Japanese drama many years ago – Perfect Love. Ever since then I have always see Bali as a very nice & romantic place to visit. My friend visited Bali 2006 & she said that it’s a very cheap & nice place. Ever since I started working… I have never give myself a treat so… I was like ‘what the heck?’... let’s do it this year… =)
