Well this has been a long time, but I haven’t forgotten it, and I’m still working at it (slowly). Slowly meaning doing pushups in the morning on weekdays. I’m considering adding some sort of aerobic routine in the evenings (thanks to my sisters for discovering exercisetv online). So this isn’t dead yet.

So a friend of mine has been extremely into working out for several years now and starting tuesday I will be working out with her 5 times a week. A little nervous about this I suppose. I kinda do a little running and yoga for stress relief, but nothing intense…this will be a huge first for me…I’m ready to commit to this though…I want to look the way I feel.
Yay Springtime!
It’s finally gotten warm in the Twin Cities, which means that I can finally bike again. That’s the good news.
The bad news is that my schedule is so messed up this year that I suspect that I will only be able to bike to work on Mondays and Thursdays (and I no longer have church committments on Saturdays). I may have to start biking both to and from work to get the excercise I want. Unfortunately, the bike home from work sort of sucks, but we’ll see.
Well I’ve made a start on this. Doing a small upper body routine (sounds so impressive when I say it like this, but really it’s push ups and varied crunches) 3 times a week. I have to figure out some way to work some cardio-ish stuff into my daily life. I wonder if getting a dog and being forced to walk it every day would help. Sadly, I don’t think my schedule allows for much dog-walking. There are a couple of days per week where I more or less leave work and go directly to the next thing and don’t get back until past 9pm. Not sure if that works for dogs.
