today I had to write a gratitude list at lunch just to get through the rest of the day. I am so angry today but I’m grateful
1. For my anger. It can be life-affirming and motivating
2. That the weekend starts in 15 minutes and I do not have to think of work for 3 whole days
3. That I got through the day and through difficult circumstances without saying anything hurtful, offensive or self-defeating
4. For my iPod and that I remembered to load it up with music I want to listen to rather than being forced to listen to the limited censored selection the owners have on the work iPod
5 I got my phone back after 3 days of not having one AND the Backup Assistant worked so I didn’t lose my whole phonebook (whew).
6. For my new yoga instructor, and yoga in the park again last night – Oh how I needed it!, Didn’t want to go (again) but went and, again, felt so grateful that I did. Also she said she’d give me a free pass to her yoga studio so I could check out if I wanted to train there. Very very nice.
