Do something with my Arduino

Dorkbot was not quite what I expected. Mostly grant-supported artists discussing their work. I had expected more hands-on workshoppin’. That’s ok – I signed up to do next month’s talk. I also expected to find a fair proportion of friends-of-friends, and very much found that. Definitely a good thing to do.

I suspect that each Arduino sends out dork waves that alerts the local Dorkbot group. I had been planning to hunt down the Canberra Dorkbot group so as to get some advice on things to do with my Arduino – and wouldn’tcha know it – they found me first. Perhaps they’ve developed Arduino-based telepathic tuners. In any case – yay for Dorkbot!

accelerometer is the next thing i guess.. for adding gestural control to a friend’s wind instrument..
