Spiritual retreat

As part of my spiritual journey, I want to go to the Benedictine monastery in northern New Mexico. It’s called Christ of the Desert, and it’s far away from the world. They practice the rule of Benedict, praying at regular intervals during the day, and the Great Silence. I’ve been using the Celtic daily prayer book lately, and it would be a good guide for s retreat. I’m thinking the dead of winter would be a good time to go – only about a 4-5 hour drive from where I live, but a world away.
