the last photos i took was with a built-in camera on my mobile phone and they weren’t very cartier-bressonesque. i never really claimed that im a photography expert but now, i have to sharpen my photography skills, get my slr fixed and find out if i spelled cartier bresson correctly. after years of digital photography and lomography literature and philosophy, my interest has strayed far, far away from the elitist art of classical photography for connoisseurs. “dont think, just shoot”, along with the ten rules of lomography has been my guiding principles of photogrpahy. this, along with its disregard for technicalities and high-tech gizmos because they believe that these things have nothing to do with taking pictures, however, have to be sidelined because im going to teach photography next sem!
well maybe i could devise a lesson plan where i could…hmm
this should be interesting :)
