    Conquering Dietary Chaos 6 days ago

    I’ve created a new LiveJournal to serve as my private, online food and exercise log. So far, there’s only one day’s worth of calorie and fat gram information stored in there, but I’m committed to making this a solid habit once again, so the pages should fill up pretty quickly. To be frank, I’m disappointed that I ever stopped doing this in the first place (it’s been over 2 years now since I’ve recorded my intake and exercise consistently). Shame on me! SHAME!

    I started the exercise segment of this goal yesterday, and have been thinking about the food part, but not actaully doing.

    One thing at a time…

    ...I think this is more of a possiblity.

    The diet has been on my mind again as something I need to keep tabs on, and will help me control my vices, and will help me make the most out of other health investments, such as acupuncture…

    ...to not just be the nutritionist appointment making, which I already did! But now it is to do with the work I need to do before the appointment occurs.

    I need to do another food log, which I have done sporadically in the past, usually including whatever MS symptoms I have at any given time. It was alot of writing! Crazy.

    But to make the most of the money spent on the nutritionist visit, I need to get back into this, if only recording the dietary consumptions.

    Oh, and I need a new blood work too. So I must make an appointment with my regular doctor for that soon.

    And dentist appointment, too. Unrelated to this, but why not.

    ...because no matter how good you are doing, you can always do better.

    My first round with her I wasn’t showered with praise that I drank only water and decaf tea at that point, nobody said, “oh, you’re doing so great,” or such.

    It is an immediate focus forward on the things that still need work, and I could use the forward momentum again almost six months later, could use it enough that I added this goal.

    Now I need to scrounge the funds.
