I took it to the guitar store and they put the strings on it. They were so nice that I asked about lessons and am starting next week. I taught myself and am so excited to finally get real lessons from a nice guitarist! 17 months ago

How I did it: This feels like a bit of an anticlimax, but after taking my guitar apart to check the wiring, I found out that it was actually my lead that was faulty, so I purchased a new one and... problem solved! Read how I did it… 18 months ago
bought new strings and they will get put on soon by someone for free.

How I did it: I put the guitar on my back and walked all the way to the mall which is like 3-4 kilos away. The guitar fixing dude just simply put a string and then wrapped it up with this weird device. And now I'm off to learn stuff from You Tube =D Read how I did it… 20 months ago
someone can string it for me, I just need to get the strings now.

All sorted and I’m very happy. I can’t understand why I left it so long! 4 years ago
I fixed the head and put on some new strings a couple of months ago and now I’m happy. I spent yesterday morning learning ‘Lola’ by The Kinks. It’s such a great song, such fun to play and sing and it made me remember why I learnt to play in the first place. I apologised to my guitar for leaving her broken for six months. Perhaps I should buy her a new plec with some flowers on it… 4 years ago
I inherited a beautiful acoustic guitar when my father died and it lost an essential screw up in the headstock, now that I found another just the right size (in an old, obselete PC of all places!) it’s back in working order. And it is once again such a fine and wonderful thing. :) 5 years ago
