be a good godmother

me and my boyfriend have been knowing eachother for almost four years but only been going out for two years. within those two years his family and i have gotten really close.. so close that his sister a wonderful mother of three has asked me to be the godmother of her youngist daughter of 5 months alyssa.. ofcouse i said yes its an honor but im only 17 and i realy dont know what im suppose to do?

my friends have asked me 2 be a god mum the baby is due july 09!!!
imjust guna do my best and look after the child i spose, any surgestions would still be good though!!

Well it turns out I will become a godmother for a second time in my life :) This time it will be my cousins baby. Due-date: end of the year.

This time it’s a babygirl :) I already have a picture of her growing inside the womb!

I find it kinda special that two different people think of me highly enough to make me godmother to their children.

Not entirely sure how to do this, since my godaughter is only 1 year old, so I can’t take her out or anything yet. Funds are limited, so not many expensive presents.
Ideas please?

I’ve recently been asked to be godmother to my friend’s baby, who is due the beginning of June. I really want to do this, I just don’t know what it involves and what to expect of myself!
I’ve just seen some really nice things that I could buy for the child, but I don’t want to spoil him. They live about 3 hours away, which is good, but it means that I MIGHT not be in regular contact with them… Help/advice anyone?

A’s birthday yesterday, one year old!!

I’m really motivated to work on this goal. Lately little Paul has been seriously ill. Really terrible to see such a little being in such a poor condition. By the looks of it he’s going to recover completely and soon he can go back to sleeping and making crap out of whatever it is he eats; like babies are supposed to do all day!

Yay! My godson was born yesterday :) His name is Paul and in one hour I will meet him for the first time in my life :)

Only three more weeks to go! Around november 12th my little ‘nephew’ will be born!

My friend Bonnie is pregnant for 4,5 months now. Recently she asked me to become her son’s godmother when he is born. Ofcourse I accepted! I am realy curious when he will be born and what his name will be! There’s only one little problem. She actually wants him to be baptized in church. My role as his godmother will be to hold him during the christening. I am not a religious person at all (although I am baptized myself) and still have to promis to raise him with Gods beliefs. Hmm, so I just have to lie in church then, nice.
