I love everything about them. I never forgot the first full rainbow that I saw when I was about 5 or 6. It was so beautiful. I was in awe. I didn’t want it to go away. I felt loved. My grandmother was there too. She never questioned my excitement unlike some people do. When I get that excited, I just can’t stop talking about it. I repeat myself a lot. I feel so energized and at home, but most people don’t understand. I usually supress the feeling to a minimum because I know they get irritated. But I never fully let it go. I know I feel that way for a reason, and it’s just part of me. Why wouldn’t you be happy when you find your way back home? No, not that home. Your real home. Clues are everywhere, and I know I’m being praised for finding them, just not in a physical part of my being. Why can’t you be happy for me?
