take my dog for more walks

My laziness is taking over me and I seem to only be able to take my dog for short walks around the block. I want to start taking my dog for longer walks so he can enjoy himself.

Made another attempt at a long walk in the park today, but my dog is absolutely terrified of the wind. We made it about 5 feet from the door and he bolted inside, lol. Maybe next time.

My dog Molly is a wee little dog of some kind of mixture. We think Lasa Opsa and something. Not really sure. Anyway, she loves to go outside and explore but we don’t have a lot of times to go on walks. So I want to start taking more time to taking her places. I live in Gettysburg, so there are plenty of places to go. Its been pretty warm out lately, so this would be a perfect time. I’m sure she’d love it.

...can only mean that I got my dog in the car-finally! He used to have no problem getting in the car, but when he hurt his leg he had to go to the vet a lot and I think he then developed a phobia of the car. But my mom really wanted to take him to the park so we bribbed him with a treat and he got right in! We went to the park and played! So much fun! Then he inhaled some french fries we got at the drive thru. (I think he liked his day too.)

The poor things drives me nuts but she is a beagle/walker hound mix so she is always wanting to be outside. the problem is…I work two jobs, so she only really gets to go out when she has to potty. One of my goals is to lose weight sooo I was thinking I could incorporate this one and that one together….kill two birds with one stone, ya know? : )

I finally gave my dog Lobo (a German Shepard) a bath and took him to the park, it was so much fun and I’m planning to do this like every Sunday, wish me luck!

i need to do it before starting college which is in 4 days!

my dog has always been extremely unsocial with dogs so i just cannot go with him ANYWHERE. He is getting old and id love to be able to walk with him without caring about the presence of other dogs. ill try it tomorrow and see what happens. =)

I wish everyone could have seen how happy my best friend was this morning. He really loves the attention, the fresh air, the exercise.
