take the time to appreciate nature

Such a beautiful day out. at the moment I’m sitting at my computer looking out the window, its a spring day and its one of those days it makes you glad to be alive.

Everything looks bright and fresh like it was reborn with the rain from last week, the sky is blue and hazy looking with big white fluffy clouds mindlessly drifting along without a care in the world.
The mountains are covered with haze like they have put an umbrella over themselves to protect from the heat of the sun, there is a gentle breeze that as it glides by it bumps one blade of grass into another, it feels like somebody’s warm breath centimeters from your skin the breeze comes in and out of tune like when someone is just about to kiss you but pulls away leaving you wanting more.

I was out driving around the country side today with my friend and we were just chatting, and came to the conclusion that we take the beauty we have around us totally for granted to drive 35 minutes away and you have a beautiful waterfall and some of the most spectacular views in Ireland, and that we are lucky to have them so close that that it shouldn’t just be tourists that enjoy the beauty around us local people should too

I am out in the garden taking the time to enjoy nature. it is pouring rain, it is windy, the leaves are blowing all around the garden, the clouds are a dark Grey,I can hear the water rush past in the river and the birds get swept up in the breeze, You cant even see the mountains it is so misty. My hair is getting blown all over the place and I’m a bit wet but i don’t care, Christmas is just around the corner and the world has never been more beautiful

I think sometimes the beauty of nature is taken for granted. People don’t realize how beautiful nature can be, when rushing around in our busy lives.
I want to take the time to stop and see the sunset or watch the rain fall…...........Things we take for granted nearly everyday
