play softball

Softball is my passion i have been playing for almost 8 years i play second base center field i also bunt most of the time because of the fact that i am really quick on my feet i have the nickname “SHORTY” and some people call me “SPEEDY” either one is okay wit me!!!!! i also play soccer i have been playin this sport for a year and im really good if i say so myself…..LOL!! i also cheer i have been doin that for almost 5 years so you can say im an all around chick…..LOL i am also a HUGE GEORGIA FAN well that is pretty much all about me that i can say

I am having trouble finding a softball team. I have never played before but I love to be active and thought this would be a great way to get out of the house and be a part of something besides work.
I need to have fun not just work. So if somebody knows of a female softball team in the san fernando valley let me know!!

I made it through an entire season of softball, but didn’t have much fun playing. I got on base a TON. Didn’t have enough power to hit it to the outfielders, and basically got all singles, and only started a couple games.

It was very cheap to join a league, but then you have to factor in buying a decent softball glove, cleats, and maybe a bat. It can get expensive.

The season drug on, and it was boring. There’s a lot of waiting around, and you get literally NO exercise playing.

I would much rather be playing soccer or hockey… or even just running by myself around the neighborhood.

I would love to play on a softball team herre in the okc area, I’m a average to above average player and really want to play this spring

2006-2007 I was on ta asoftbvall team called the Phantoms and it was amazing until I started getting shunned by everyone on the team. It really hurt me and my coach just let me go because of it. Thr weird thing is I’ve been playing softball with them since like third grade. It’s a lot different now. I wish I was on a team this year. But there is always next year. =]

Technically, I’ve already done this. I’ve been playing softball for three years so far. However, I want to improve my playing desperately. My coach always puts me in outfield. I want to prove myself.

My baseball career was over before it began. A lack of hand-eye coordination saw to that. But softball I can do. The ball is big and slow enough to make contact with and I’m big and strong enough to make the ball go real far. I still can’t catch it worth a damn, but no one is perfect.

My station put together a softball team last summer and I didn’t bother to sign up because I didn’t think any of the guys I’m friends with were getting involved. Turns out most of them played. So next year when they get the team back together I’ll be there.
