I started taking Tai Chi through The Taoist Tai Chi Society at the beginning of May 2010. So far I am no more co-ordinated or graceful than I ever was, but it is a few hours a week that I don’t have to think about anything else in my life, just concentrate on my movement and learning the required forms. 18 months ago

Maybe I should be paying for instruction but I’m a miser. I’m learning the traditional short form as outlined in The Tai Chi Directory by Kim Davies. I’ve been working on the first 4 steps/forms for about 2 weeks and added the 5th today. I add a new step/form every few days, but not until I’ve pseudo-mastered the previous one. 2 years ago

sadly enough, I dont really feel like spending an exorbitant amount of money to learn hoe to do this, so for now, it’s coming off the list. 4 years ago

I keep passing a Tai Chi studio when I walk around downtown. Maybe I’m trying to decide whether to take it up again. It’s not that I’m deciding whether it’s worth it; it’s whether I’m worth it. 5 years ago

As there is no formal training available in my area – I am forced to practice as best I can with what I can find. Aside from a vast array of literature on the philosophy and history of Tai Chi Chuan; I’ve found this little gem of a site:
Taiji.de
It might be worth a look. 6 years ago

I have the 24-posture form about memorized… i am glad that what I learned before was Yang style, because most of the lessons (and postures) apply. 6 years ago
