run a successful business

I now have two dedicated loyal employees working with me, i’m really excited about the future prospect of the business. The workload for myself is also reduced which is good. I’ve received one of my cheques and am waiting for the other in the mail. My dedication is finally paying off.

I’m having great success with the business at the moment. I’ve managed to get £6756.25 in for the business inc vat. After expenses i obviously don’t earn this much, but what a success! I’m looking forward to getting more money in for the business next month. It’s really boosted my confidence getting this contract in. I’m taking taxi’s to work at my friends house everyday, but it’s really worth it, considering the return. My outgoings are still really high, a couple more clients though and cashflow should be on track where it needs to be!

one of which has a really cheap office for rent which would be perfect for me!! Trouble is I can’t cover present costs, let alone any more.

It was great chatting with him though, we’re in similar area’s and gave me more confidence in approaching people.

I also spoke to the bank manager briefly about getting figures to her re a loan, although I’m nervous aobut this because I’m behind on payment on my credit cards gulp!

and now I’m beginning to receive help.
the positive reframing is a very powerful tool, however when it’s obvious to the universe that the reality is different it doesn’t pay much attention.
The last week was about me admitting and accepting I need help, I asked for it and I’m starting to receive it.

Today the first thing I will do is prioritise my TO DO list, which has about 40 things on it GULP!!!

I was talking to someone else who is doing this type of thing in Belfast, and when I told him I only invited 50 people and have got 10 people signed up he was impressed, he said that was an excellent return and don’t ever expect a return like that again! Which surprised me a lot as I’d been feeling dissappointed that the initial 20 people that said they’d come dwindled down to what now stands at 9.
Apparently this is a great return though, fingers crossed all of those people will arrive and things will run smoothly. I’m still finalising the structure of the day, and producing pretty powerpoint slides to use on the day.

I’m very nervous about this, and at the same time I know I have the skills and knowledge to make this a very successful day, and valuable for everyone attending

I have clients, I haven’t gotten my marketing in place properly, ie my website.
There’s not enough money coming in..
I’m wrestling with shame and guilt and fear that comes from my past, yes it’s coming up to be healed and cleared out.. but it’s not pleasant and it’s challenging.

Having worked on the business for the last six months and finally having to take on a couple more jobs to support my livelyhood due to the extreme financing it required. I’m now feeling like working on the business again. For quite some time because of my obligations and the pressure it was putting on me, i found it very difficult to deal with the worries that come along with being a business owner.

Now i have new concerns. It’s the end of the month and i really need to ramp up the work i’m putting into the business so that i may gain one new client. This is all i really need to live on. Left in July i have 3 Mornings next week to gain some interest. Providing i have a 10% conversion. I can possibly gain one sale with the 12 hours that i have left. Although i’m reluctant to work given that i’m working 14 hours daily on my other two jobs on tuesday, thurs, friday and saturday. This still gives me monday, tuesday and wednesday to put some calls in.
